Composition of mass flowmeter


Mass flowmeter is composed of sensor, transmitter and display instrument. The shape of the measuring tube for the detection element sensor varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.


Working process of mass flowmeter


Although the manufacturers are different, the principles of the sensor industry are the same. The fluid medium vibrates the measuring tube through the exciting coil, and the fluid medium generates Ge force in the vibration tube. Because the Ge force generated by the fluid medium at the inlet and outlet of the measuring tube is equal in magnitude and opposite in direction, the vibrating tube will be distorted. The fluid medium, through the electromagnetic detector or photodetector, converts the distortion generated by the measuring tube into an electrical signal and outputs it to the transmitter for further processing. The transmitter converts the sent electrical signal into a low or binary signal, which is then transformed and amplified, and then outputs an electrical signal proportional to flow and density (4-20 madc) or a frequency and pulse signal.
